This is a Cuban like no other. We read about La Segunda in Tampa Bay Magazine, which awarded La Segunda with the tie for best Cuban sandwich. As we drove up we noticed two things, the first being where the heck do we park and the second that numerous people had walked blocks to get there and were passing us on the street with their treasures. We had to circle around the block a couple of times to find the parking spot. We discovered later that there is a vacant grass lot across the street that we could have used. Parking aside, this place is a destination. People line up for this food for good reason. It is amazing. If you have ever only had a Cuban from Publix.... You have not had a Cuban....
I am a original Tampa person born in ybor city. I went in to get a loaf of Cuban bread and when we got home I was highly disappointed as well as the rest of my family. What happen to the original ingredients?? We threw the rest of it away. That is NOT the Cuban bread I am used to eating. Sorry to say Mauricio’s on Florida that retired was a much better product. This is my first and last time buying bread here. Ingredient list has ruined it.
This place has so many options! This location is smaller than the St Pete location. No place to sit down and enjoy there at cafe. This is a bakery to pick up orders and take with you. Quick service even though was busy. Lots of options to choose from. Beautiful display case with labeled prices. Cafe con leche and espresso were delicious too. Parking is streetside or a small parking lot. Thank you
I absolutely LOVE the sandwiches and pastries! BUT, the last 4 visits, our order has been wrong. After waiting for so long, then having to wait longer to get the right order. I know things happen, but it's been consistent. We came in today and paid for 2 sandwiches, but only got one..

Drove by while working and dropped in for their famous bread and saw a huge display of freshly baked pastries and just had to try several and wow!!! My new go to place when close to Ybor City.
Great historical bakery and sandwich shop. Lots of sandwich options and tons of fresh pastries. Friendly staff but generally expect a wait if ordering sandwiches. Definitely recommend....
The best bakery in Tampa Gingerbread Men and Women are the best in town Since a kid But they made them tiny now sad But still great 20 stars Customer Service is Amazing by everyone
Had an amazing sandwich this morning here. Definitely a little pricey but it’s worth it. They also have pretty good espresso.

Always good! Fantastic breakfast and lunch. If you're in town and want to have a Cuban sandwich, this is the place to get it.
No place to sit and eat but the food made up for it. Their macarons were to die for! Yummy
