This place is fantastic! It appears to have been an old Sonic drive-in that has been transformed into a BBQ restaurant. There's indoor seating available, which is a nice touch. As soon as you arrive, you can smell the delightful smokiness in the air. We ordered loaded baked potatoes and ribs, and let me tell you, the potatoes were enormous! The brisket was tender and moist without any of those unappetizing fatty bits—just the right texture! The sauce complemented the smoky flavor of the meat rather than overpowering it. This cozy restaurant is situated in an old Sonic building. You place your order at the counter and then grab a seat at one of the four available tables. The decor is charming and comfortable, making the space feel inviting and very clean. The brisket is tender and juicy, complemented by a fantastic BBQ sauce. Their green chile brisket sandwich is a must-try! The staff, who I believe are the owners, are friendly and attentive, checking on us a few times during our meal. Overall, it’s a great place for dining in.
The brisket was just like good ole Texas mesquite smoked meet. It was tinder with great smoke flavor. The owner had the good Texan hospitality. I wish I lived closer to eat their more often.
