4 of us went to try this place. All 4 of us thought the service food was outstanding and the atmosphere is good as the dinner area is separated from the bar itself. Very happy with this place and will be going back soon for round 2. All 4 of us got different things and we were all very happy. An A restaurant. Only down side is bring your walking shoes as we needed to park a block away to get there. Parking: We went on a Friday night at 5pm (beat the rush) and the place was getting full already at the bar. My dad who walks with a cane needed to park a block away and took 10 min to walk there for him. No handicapped parking that I could see.
Ivan and Patricio will give you a 5 star service. There is no type of waste in food because everything is exquisite. A perfect place, with perfect prices for your parties. You will not regret coming to this place. They also have karaoke and DJ. I have been visiting this restaurant for 8 months and the truth is that I do not have a single complaint. You just bring an idea of what you want for your parties and the manager will make your dreams come true.
The place has changed since the last time I visited in 2018. They now serve pizza and burgers. I preferred the tapas style menu it had before. The crab cakes were very mushy and didn’t taste much like crab. The octopus was tender and flavorful. Steak sandwich was also very delicious, steak wasn’t dry. They make this sandwich with garlic bread which added more flavor to the sandwich. The sangria was okay, a little too sweet for my liking.
I used to order from this restaurant frequently, but it has been a while and I do not plan on ordering from them again. The new packaging looks terrible and the portion of rice has been cut in half. The food was poorly presented and looked like it was thrown together haphazardly. I paid over $35 for this meal, which is ridiculous. I am very disappointed and will not be ordering from La Taberna again.

The pasta and paella were both overly oily and salty, especially the shrimp. The paella tasted better on a previous visit. The nachos were also missing, which was a disappointment. I had high hopes for this tapas restaurant but ultimately left feeling disappointed.
