We have been looking for a hotel which has good food and takes dogs and is located south of Bordeaux at last we have found one. Not far off the motorway the Auberge de Lugos combines the traditional hospitality of an inn with a restaurant worthy of a return visit. The room was clean with modern decor and a comfy bed. Breakfast served in the bar included fresh juice, jams and charcuterie. There was locally baked bread in addition to croissant and pan au chocolate. Coffee was of good quality so the breakfast was well worth taking. Our evening meal was the more expensive menu which was good value. looking for a place to sleep I fell by chance on this inn and as we often say, luck makes good things. to start the place is very well placed, a beautiful forest and not far from the dune of the pyla. very good reception, simpatic staff and the owner is in the kitchen, a real chef, innovation of dishes, local products and generously served. very good cooking, I recommend and I look forward to coming back. accommodation makes me think of old hostels, comfort as in time, simple but so close to nature. the dining room is very welcoming the helpful and smiling staff of the kitchen is excellent ratio quality price nothing to say on the bed linen is very good the only small apartment the rooms are period at the level of tapestry and tiled of the bathroom but it does not prevent that the places are very clean I highly recommend this establishment.

3rd place in the restaurant in 1 year. Every time a delicious meal. A simple map with fresh products and a reel know how to make the kitchen team. A smooth, fluid service.
