Nice discovery of the cajous walnuts with herbs of Provence, the layon hill is exquisite. What more to say was a perfect moment, which will remain marked in our minds very long. In a restaurant (or hotel) with this (pretended) standing, the service is an essential element of the customer satisfaction…and the service was really poor. I reserved a table for lunch « at noon ». I got a confirmation for 12:30. When we arrived a few minutes before noon, we were told that we are in advance as we have reserved for 12:30. So we went to the terrace and ordered some drinks….we waited 30 minutes without being served and decided to sit directely at a table in the restaurant and have the drinks there. A general comment is the dressing code: We were dressed “smart casual” (regading the « reputation » of the restaurant), but the staff in the restaurant preferred to wear jeans !! No...
We ate six people there. The place is superb and it is a shame that the kitchen is not in relation to the price. Fish without flavor... and quantity leaving on his hunger. At 32 euros the menu is a bit disappointing. Nice and helpful staff, superb setting.
We didn't know this place. We stopped for a drink. Beautiful hotel facing the beach of Ploumanac'h. Nice welcome. A step to remember if we return to the Pink granite Coast.
