East Kent Triumph MCC planned a day trip over to France to visit Atlantic Wall Batterie Todt Museum. After reading many Trip advisor reviews on local resturants and places to eat, we decided on La Table Du Beffroi in Bolougne old town. With a few emails it was booked and Thomas was aware that one of our members has a bad Gluten intolerance ... no problem we can cater for this was the reply we wanted. Mussels in leek white wine sauce Brouchette de Beef Fish steak all in lovely sauces with crispy chips were all cook to perfection. Deserts were Ice cream of all flavours. simple setting, friendly atmosphere, you feel good. the chef is in the kitchen in his small open kitchen and respects the waitress who managed the service very well on Sunday noon. It's very good, it's fresh and qq dishes offered on a slate cooked to taste, and very affordable prices (only dishes and desserts), 50€ to 2, apéro, dish, dessert, bottle of water and coffee.
Congratulations to the couple who, alone, manages to do a whole job that would deserve staff to help them in their task. but, despite the job offers, no candidate presents himself, poor france. the reception is very pleasant, the dishes are fresh and homemade and the ratio quality price is excellent. Do not hesitate to stop there during a mulogna passage on the sea.

Stopped here for lunch on the way back to Calais. It was very busy but they squeezed us in and very pleased they did brilliant food and service all at good value, exactly what we were after. Would highly recommend the quiche in particular.
The hosts were extreemly friendly and welcoming, the service was excellent and the food was superb, and plenty of it. Cannot recommend highly enough. We will definately be coming here again.
I do not know if the food is good in here or not. Our encounter with a rude waitress who ignored us sitting at an uncleared table was enough to make us leave. No menu, no drinks nothing.
