We were 6 people and 3 dogs and I must say one of the most pleasant dinners ever. Service was perfect, really warm welcome and didn’t have to wait long even though it was a busy night. Food was top class! I’ve been here before...and they have some regular stuff on the menu that I really like, but it is refreshing that about 50% of menu gets changed from time to time, allowing us to try new things... they didn’t mind our dogs, they didn’t mind our changes in side dishes and everyone was really happy with their chosen desert (doesn’t always happen)... we spent the evening with good food, service and company, what could you ask more? Highly recommended!
What do you want me to say? I don't really understand the good reviews? the menu is nothing but a pub menu. we both disrecote and ordered the duck. the meat cut was up to in fact a customs of his life accompanied by some recently. entfrosted pfeffersoße accompanied by some likerd risotto goup, which could be carved with a knife. my wife starter was accompanied by roasted brot to go with her Fois grass and the brot had green form on it! they use old brot and toast it...wow as well as I had luck to pay 112 euro for this loose and sure this can not be French quisine. the burgers looked good and the staff was at least friendly.
Six of us had a meal here in August, my husband had a steak which was very good, daughter had chicken there again perfectly okay, son had fajitas- pretty good. Now to the bad bit- 3 of us decided while in France we should have...duck. We ordered the u.s. Meal, not very American but still. Starter was a grey looking mashed up dry duck thing that could have been mistaken for cat food. Second course was duty prices of duck in a sauce. Pudding was not bad but by this time I felt a sickly from the previous courses. I think there are too many choices. It reminded me of Gordon Ramsey in the US- he would have had a field day!
As we live close by we thought we would give this a try. It always appears busy and popular and we can see why. The location is right next to Grolejac lake and is perfect for a summer evening view. The food was lovely and...portions were perfect, the one thing that lets the over all experience is the service. We arrived at 7:30pm and was served quickly but as the night went on the service got slower and slower. By the time we had finished our main at 8:30 we waited 20 mins for our dessert and then a further 20 minutes for the bills and to pay . This lets a wonderful restaurant down.
Stopped here after a 6km walk for a bite to eat arriving 10 mins before the kitchen closed, but they welcomed and seated us with no fuss, bringing menus etc. We were very relieved! It was a quiet time and the service wasn't rushed...but this suited us just fine. We all enjoyed our food a lot, the menu has a comprehensive selection so you're sure to find something to your taste. The atmosphere and furnishing outside also adds a lovely feel to the place. Prices were a little steep, but I think they were worth it! Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area!!
had a nice meal in la table du marais, we came late without booking, but they were still pleased to give us a table. eating was fantastic in a great environment near the late in the beautiful village groléjac we were. of coralie, which was very pleasant and made us very welcome. she helped us with our franzosen when she stopped chatting and an interest in our trip. would recommend everyone to visit this beautiful restaurant for great food and fantastic service. next time we will return to groléjac.
Definitely pleased we finally stopped for a meal here after passing nearly every day from our campsite! The menu isn’t huge but there’s something for everyone, even my fussy 12 year old! Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.
very friendly service, good eating, cozy environment, chill place. beautiful garden for children. fajitas was delicious. we had a great time.
We have been here twice so far and will no doubt be back again before the end of our trip. Lovely food, especially the entrecôte
