for our first and last Corsican lunches after landing and before boarding. have followed the advice of various websites and ridge and these two meals have been a real pleasure especially with the quality of the fish proposed and cooked (thon, denti, rascasse). very pleasant and shaded terrace even if these two Saturdays noon we were allowed to clean up the post market place by the municipal teams. perfect service and small commercial gesture appreciated after reporting that the note presented was not that of our table (less than what we really needed). after the first lunch at the arrival we returned there with great pleasure at the end of our stay.
beautiful table located above the port of bastia on the superb market place at the foot of the cathedral (parking below it is precious). Excellent oyster bench in particular of the gillardeau this year fresh fish (now st stone wolf sole. ..) beautiful shaded terrace tables with personal welcoming and qualified tables. a frequenter notably for its oyster bench (soleron meadows and more particularly gillardeau the rolls of the eightres fairly rare in corse ). fresh fish today: st stone wolf of sole ...due leotte jumped to small vegetables 28 € copied and well prepared and sole meunière 25€. very beautiful desserts of the day.
after several bad experiences in the old port restaurants, we moved inside looking for a less tourist restaurant. already outside the market table looks very well, orderly servers, well-established tables. on the square, there are other restaurants but this one stands out. the menu is intriguing, leaving you the embarrassment of choice, all fresh fish, oysters, scallops and various. Already with the moscato mosquito aperitif, we started well, then we were tempted by a tartare of oysters and Santiago, spaghetti with palourdes and marinara mussels. Everything is very good, excellent service.
lobster salad a little forged in terms of layout, but shrimp and lobster really well prepared; as the main dish of the Santiago shells with the snail sauce where the toasted taste of the Santiago shells perfectly corresponds to the specific flavor of the snail. good service and take your time. waiting times are worth food

We were recommended at the hotel and we spent a very good time. refined place. Excellent kitchen. impeccable service. We took a lobster tasting menu, 74 euros per person, dessert included, really amazing. highly recommended
