After visiting the magnificent castle of Chenonceau, we decided to eat in this restaurant because it was in an idyllic place and apparently a good and quality food seen critics. When we arrive a girl welcomes us and installs us at the table we choose. After 3 minutes, a waiter arrives and tells us that the kitchen closes at 2 o'clock, while we sit at 1:46. That it is not possible to eat and you have to leave. He didn't even give us the opportunity to eat in less time, while the restaurant closes at 4pm. The restaurant alone is worth the stay at Chateau de Chissay. The food, service ambiance are in keeping with the quality the French expect of restauration. I had an amazing dinner—everything came together in harmony. The photos don’t do the meal justice (my phone only has 2 cameras, not 12, so low light is a challenge).
