Oriental restaurant with a fade flavor. The couscous is without spices, and had nothing royal. Indeed, there was a lot of ingredients to make it a real royal couscous despite a cook from there who predicts that we are transporting to North Africa. It was nothing. The value/price ratio is more than disappointing, due to the average quality of meats and service quite limited. In addition, shameful to charge €26 the burgundy bottle that could be described as a piquette. The margin must be more than interessing for them. In short, if you want to eat oriental around Chartres, don't go to this restaurant.
The very nice welcome, you feel comfortable. staff smiling and listening to customers. With regard to couscous, nothing to say... Well served, semolina and excellent vegetables served at will, mellow meat for mechoui and cooked skewers perfectly without too many spices to spoil (or hide) the taste of meat.. Something we can find in other establishments of this kind... only good in this establishment. Saturday night, it was a theme evening (years 80) and despite the large number of customers, the service was perfect. To discover for lovers good couscous and good atmosphere....
A friend organized a party in this fabulous restaurant. The welcome is warm, an authentic couscous, an atmosphere of fire thanks to a friendly oriental dancer (we even had the right to a dance class), a boss very close to his clients without choking him and a careful waitress. a price range more than reasonable for the quality of the meal and service. What we also liked was the end of the evening that ended in dancing evening with good music. To finish I strongly recommend the sun table ... I'm planning to organize my birthday in a few months.
We loved this restaurant a little difficult to find but certainly one of the best couscous de chartres. Perfect seed, fresh and tender vegetables and excellent meats. Quality service and very smiling staff. Only flat it was not very hot at the beginning of the meal. I didn't know this place, so it was a great discovery. The good couscous and the super nice welcome; But what I really learned was the end of the evening when everyone came to dance on the track (we would have believed in a box). Long live the next release!!!!!
A very good memory... my anniv with friends for the first time ds this restaurant ...a warm welcome ...a very hearty couscous ... tajines at the top ...and a very friendly boss and servers ...one thing is on ...jy will return ...
