It’s a wicked little place, I visited a fair few times and I loved it! The food is unreal, during my time in Méribel I ate their burger the duck the fondue the Superstar of the menu the Côte de bœuf..... There’s...not a place in Méribel that offers this awesome grub, I tried most and this was the best! The staff were all on point, ALSO have a Caliente at the bar... Never had one before arriving, now it’s all I’m drinking as I travel France! Thanks Guys!!!
The attitude of the staff can only be described as appalling. Everything about every part of the order was wrong, including basic drinks and how a steak is cooked. They were argumentative, unapologetic and ruined our last night. To top it all the manager was angry with us for complaining and was still trying to charge service. We still paid over €170 for terrible food! We love Meribel but will be avoiding this place on future visits.
We went on a Sunday night, so there was a special Sunday menu. We chose Raclette and it was good. The service was friendly: our waitress was English and it seems that all staff is strange: it is a very British place.... We sat in the restaurant part on the ground floor, but on the first floor it is a very lively bar with screens that show football etc.... Nice living place.
We've eaten in the La Taverne restaurant many times over the years...and have always found it to be a most enjoyable experience. Well chosen wines, all the standard traditional fare with welcome contemporary twists. Well portioned meals, very attentive and friendly staff and a great room to dine in. What a catastrophe when the hotel is very well placed in merebel! negative points:-lit unstable because a broken foot of the bed,-effrious walls,-saleted at the level of the floor,-balcony common with the neighbor without any barrier between,-scratch of the wc broken,-of black/salted in the joints of the shower tiles,-share that was white at the base
Great location. Twin room was sufficient size and cleanliness. A small number of bar employees are friendly and helpful, but the vast majority (including managers) are rude and self-sufficient. Yeah, we know you're doing a ski season, so you think it's... you're cooler than us. But this attitude really does not fit into a job in hospitality.
WOW what can I say, they managed to book our group of 32 in no problem, they were happy and very helpful all night. sorted everything quickly and to perfection. and the food was out of this world. highly recommend and great location. thank you...to all the staff. from the Kings booking 6th march 2020 5*
Went for a dinner and it was fab ! Steak and fondue was amazing !Price - medium range. Quality of food exceptional. Easy to find in the centre and bus stop is just outside. We have had a very good evening, the card does not offer much choice, but there are for all tastes, with vegetarian dishes and reasonable prices!The plates are very well presented and well filled!! I recommend it!!!
