My husband and I cut our camping holiday because of the weather and went for a nice dinner to finish the week. I love handmade pasta and this is the best I had in Columbus! I ordered the Gnocchi al Forno with Prosciutto and my husband had the Pasta Bolognese. The gnocchi was like small clouds of tasty with fried sprouts, which remained magically crispy, although crushed in the cheese sauce (in a good way). Pasta Bolognese was perfect for Al Dente. Dessert was really great when I was super nitpicky a Ted dry on the outside of the cake, but perfect until almost reaching the edge and masking the goose and cream cheese. Server was excellent. Great experience! I had been craving fettucine alfredo for months, and I was told by many people that La Tavola was the best alfredo in the area. I would have to agree! I will say that it is ACTUAL fettucine alfredo. Meaning, it is almost straight cheese, with a lot less heavy cream/butter than one may be used to. Still, super good! I also got the tiramisu, which was amazing as well. Edit: I went back again, in person this time, and it was better than ever. I got this lovely pesto pasta, which was probably the best I've ever had. Our server (I don't remember her name, but she had a bunch of tattoos) was incredibly nice and helpful. The atmosphere was great, and everyone (servers, cooks, etc)...
Really one of the better Italian restaurants I remember in Columbus and for some of the dishes some of my favorite. A really charming and shameful place with curated service and a unique menu that was excellent overall. We had the fall menu and loved the squash and burrata, the best dish of his kind I've ever tried. I will definitely return soon!
The food is amazing: pasta dishes, pizza and dessert. It’s a bit on the more expensive side, but still reasonable for a nice date night. Service is great! came here for men birthday dinner because he wanted chicken parm and this place filled his dream! a great Italian restaurant with delicious ingredients in the house/local. will be coming back. very recommend the burrata app, and the focaccia was to die for
our new favorite restaurant by far. they can taste the craftsman's attention to detail in every bite. callie served us every time when there is really not enough good things to say about them! 100/10
A meal simply could not be better. Incredible bolognese, al dente fresh pasta, ACTUAL parmigiano reggiano, super fresh and flavorful salad, with exceptional service!
