We went for lunch at this restaurant. Once seated, the waitreS ignored us for at least 30 minutes. When she finally developed some interest for us, she very rudely informed us of the menu options or rather limitations. We asked for some bread while waiting, which never came. We ordered a pichet of read wine, she brought rosé. It then took another 15 minutes to replace it, and finally the red wine was actually vinegary. She refused to change it. We asked for bread again, and she just grabbed the leftover bread from the next table and threw it on our table. The meals took another 20 minutes to get on our table, and very honestly it wasn’t worth the wait. 2 hours in, we asked her to not bother...
We happened to find this place when walking in Gordes. It seemed like a small quaint restaurant that was quiet and peaceful. Unfortunately, there was no view despite being on hill. The staff were friendly but as the restaurant started to fill up, the service was extremely slow. The menu is shown on a blackboard so it was quite limited. We shared the plate of the day, white asparagus and oven baked Camembert. The asparagus was delicious and light. The Camembert was extremely tasty but filling. In addition, there were large slices of ham but they were nothing special. The plate of the day was a tajine but it didn’t seem at all French. Just shameful. But who's in the kitchen seriously? The menu is limited to 2 entries and 2 dishes: For entries: a tuna tartare that bathes in vinegar and a ton of capres, a tomato that is literally buried with... truffle shavings (but where does this truffle come from? to the point where it becomes soaking. I remind you that the truffle is intended to perfume a dish. It's not an accompaniment! For dishes: a false thread hard to chew accompanied by a crushed potato, which is really a simply crushed potato. You know that adding a net of olive oil, salt and nutmeg changes everything? a camembert cooked with ... of the honestly not terrible charcuterie No but are you serious??? The staff is kind...
The restaurant is a bit off the the main square but the outside seating is protected from the evening winds. We've ordered a 3 course menu; I went for Fricasse de seiche, Saint Jacques risotto, and Gratin abricot €28). Both my wife and I have sorted out that this was the best risotto we've ever had special flavour that matched the Saint Jacques taste so well. We also loved the Gratin abricot. The service was also on a very decent level but could work better in English note: they only received cash no credit cards).

To escape. Input to thousand-sheets of tomatoes two rounds of tomatoes and a slice of mozzarella. the camembert dish in the charcuterie furnace: only industrial products. We have in 72 euros 2 adults and one child and without dessert. a shame for restoration.
Loved eating outdoors, right in the center of Gordes. The service was excellent and the meal was not only delicious but was served with much presentation that is typical of France.
Endroit parfait! Repas d'affaires, en couplé, avec des amis... Service et cadre, mais sur une cuisine de qualité avec des produits frais et de saison. Je recommande...
