I read a couple of previous reviews complaining about the service. I can't speak for La Tienda before 2020, but my recent trips there were awesome. The food is traditional Colombian and is good for this style. Importantly, the kitchen nails the temperature of the food here, which can be spotty anywhere, even in the US. Colombian service is...well it just is what it is, but here the service for me has been nothing but spot-on and is certainly vastly superior to that of most local restaurants. Poblado restaurants are their own, Westernized deal, but most local places simply don't provide what anyone outside of Colombia would consider attentive. Walked by and it looked good. However, the recent reviews were a little over the place. I had a good meal though and would recommend. The waitress was fantastic and did a good job. I had the cherresco and it was good. A little tough but was cooked correct. Salad was good and portions were nice. Steak had a good flavor to it. Prices were above average for Colombia but well below average for the USA. I would recommend.
For an authentic meal, bring your appetite. This plate boasts different proteins. A meal that was explained to me was necessary for coffee bean farmers to make the journey up and down the mountains while harvesting coffee beans.
