Finding a restaurant open in August in France can be a problem and I admit La Tourtiere was not our first choice but at the end of the evening we were all very pleased the other restaurants were closed! At first I was a little concerned as the menu was limited and had very little fish but our friend who is vegetarian ordered a Goat's Cheese salad which she was very happy with. I ordered the Pavé de Boeuf with a Maroilles cheese sauce and my wife chose the Veal with Maroilles sauce. We were given olives and a terrine of Rillettes before our order arrived which was very good, the only small criticism of the night was the home made brioch that was served with it. It simply did not go with Rille...
