Das Mittagsmenü mit wahlweise Vorspeise und Hauptgang oder Hauptgang und Dessert ist mit 16,50 EUR einen Tick teurer als das Restaurant an der gegenüberliegenden Straßenecke. Dieser Mehrpreis ist aber mehr als fair, denn dafür bekam ich beim ersten Besuch ein Gazpacho aus Tomaten mit Ingwer u.a. sowie Rumpsteak mit Salat und Pommes Frittes, nett angerichtet in einer kleinern Papiertüte auf dem Teller sowie ein Karaffe Wasser. Ein Nachtisch ist nicht nötig, denn mit der Kombi war ich zufrieden. Ein Glas Rotwein aus Chinon ist für 4,50 EUR zu haben. Bei meinem Besuch tags darauf wurde ich schon wie ein Stammkunde begrüßt. Excellent restaurant. The frame is very cute, the staff is very nice, the dishes are excellent and the waiting time is reasonable. I strongly recommend this place and advise the tourangeaux or visitors to the region to go there!
