La Verte Campagne - Tisch reservieren

A group of friends had dinner at this lovely restaurant.we had booked ahead si the table was beutifully set for this large group. There was a formula menu with the addition of a delightful amuse bouche and sorbets. There were choices per course...and were varied enough to satisfy all of us.not normally easy to do. I had a fois gras starter followed by stuffed pheasant. The other choices were an entrecote or seabass. All were surprisingly served with unique accompaniments.delicious. we were next served with two sorbets, an apple and calvados and a camembert. My wife and I arrived early afternoon from the Cherbourg ferry and were warmly welcomed. The weather was hot, so we asked if we could sit in the 'Jardin Fleurie' and have tea. This was provided promptly. Our room was large and comfortable, with ensuite facilities. Dinner in a small dining room with a large Bretonne ( Should be Normandy ) style open fireplace, was a wonderful introduction to France. The Foie Gras starter was superb as was the rest of the meal. A bottle of Pouilly Fume at E28.50 was good value. This place is certainly not easy to find and not within walking distance of the village, but it is a very relaxing environment and well worth the effort if travelling through Normandy....

During late August we visited this excellent restaurant on two occasions. The quality of the food and its presentation was very high indeed. There were some truly wonderful tastes that seemed carefully balanced across each menu. The service in this family run restaurant was, as...might be expected, attentive and knowledgeable without being intrusive. On both evenings we were warmly welcomed by the owner. These were very special dining experiences, the best in this part of France.

Arrivés pour le diner ,pas de problème pour trouver ce lieu car très bien fléché à partir du bourg de Trelly.L'accueil est chaleureux avec un repas au coin du feu extatique...madame aux fourneaux,monsieur au service...une association cohérente!Madame maitrise la cuisson(magret de canard avec légumes à point)pour ma part.Nous reviendrons!
