The owner José was very, very welcoming to us. The kitchen normally opened up at 20.00, but since we are peregrinos we were there earlier and he invited us in. We got an appetizer from the house, very good rosé wine and a delicious meal that was a typical local dish. It is in the city centre and very cheap too. Great place!
Four of us found this place on this site, fabulous find! Great food, super friendly, run by two brothers. The one that speaks English wasn’t in so his brother got him on the phone to make sure we were happy! Truly authentic, just go with what he wants to serve, can’t miss.

good homemade food, pretty big rations, very friendly staff and eager to have a good experience. Even though it was almost 5 o'clock in the afternoon, they didn't put us in trouble to eat and they treated us wonderfully.
Restaurant-chigre located in avilés in the area of cabruñana . jose makes you feel at home, near the treatment and campechano. very rich calluses, meatballs, carrilleras has a short letter but everything very rich.
