Had dinner on the terrace overlooking the jet d'eau (and traffic) and were pleasantly surprised. Service is very good and fast/efficient and waiter was eager to help. Japanese food was very good but the wine selection was only average to poor (they need to work on that front and will definitely have a winning formula). Very convenient location with a great view of the Lake but unfortunately the traffic and proximity of the zebra crossing and of a popular ice cream shop around the corner means there is an incessant flow of people walking around you and blocking the view. We stumbled across this bar as we were looking for somewhere to have a couple of drinks. Really friendly staff who were chatty and smiley. We didn't eat here but the drinks were extremely reasonable. We were also provided bread and olives to snack on as we sat at the bar. We had just arrived in Geneva that day and so we had a couple of questions on how to get to places which the staff were more than happy to answer. Really nice decor inside and a great location just set back from the Lake, in view of the fountain. I can't believe there aren't other reviews about this place! The food that we saw others eating looked delicious! Definitely recommend.

Wir hatten für 8 Personen reserviert und fanden einen schönen Tisch für uns mit dem besten Blick auf den See und den Jet d'eau. Das Plat du Jour war Fisch mit Gemüse und einem Salat als Vorspeise für CHF 19. Filets de perches CHF 44. Der Service war tadellos. Best tartare de boeuf and sushi I've ever had - and in the same sitting!My wife and I stumbled across it after a walking tour of Geneva, as it's right across the street from the Jet d'Eau. We got a table right away and the interior and staff were top. The bathrooms in this place are like a starship, really quite impressive decor. It was reasonably priced (for geneva) and the food was just excellent.

Wir kamen hierher zum Essen, und meine Frau fragte, ob sie unser Neugeborenes mit ins Badezimmer nehmen dürfe. Der Besitzer hielt sie auf und sagte, sie müsse zuerst bestellen, um ins Badezimmer zu gehen. Daraufhin sind wir gegangen; ich würde niemals mein Geld einem unfreundlichen Besitzer geben.
Schnelles Mittagessen an einem windigen Sonntag. Freundlicher Service, sehr gutes Fondue, perfekter Blick auf den See und die Berge. Schwächen: Es fehlen einige Biersorten auf der Karte, die Tür der Damentoilette lässt sich nicht abschließen. Haustiere sind willkommen.
Das Restaurant La Voile liegt in der Nähe des Jeu d'eau und nach unserem Besuch dort machten meine Frau und ich dort Mittagspause. Wir probierten das Tagesgericht, tranken Wein und genossen ein Dessert. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und auch der Service war sehr gut.
Wir hatten auf ein schnelles Frühstück gehofft, bevor wir nach Montreux fuhren. Leider war am späten Vormittag alles ausverkauft, inklusive Kaffee. Nach dem, was wir sehen konnten, war nur eine Person im Dienst, und sie war freundlich.

I had a really good experience at "La Voile". The waitress was really kind & attentive to our demand. The prices was correct, it's tough to find low prices in Swiss anyway.. The food is really good.
A nice place with fresh fish and good plates. Decoration is really amazing, you feel like in a boat. Go there !
