Then we stumbled upon L'Acetho, and spoke to some of the staff taking a break out front before service. Could they do vegetarian? Oui. Could they handle an allergy to capsicum/bell-peppers/poivron? We went there for a lunch that we took on the terrace in a tiny alley at the back of the restaurant entrance. we took the menu of the day and were a little confused by the gaspazzo in the entrance. It was a sweet cold soup with a lot of gustative research as seems to be the credo of the restaurant (from melon especially in this gaspazzo) coming from a stay in Andalusia I was surprised by this gaspazzo. not having finished our entry, the chief came kindly to worry about our fate. the suite was perfect with a perfectly cooked fish and a dessert with poached apricots that was very good. Wandering around Agen's pleasant side streets in search of somewhere for lunch, we passed L'Acetho, which doesn't look particularly eye catching from the outside. A glance at the menu coupled with our need for food persuaded us that it might be worth a try. Good decision. We ate outside, a little terrace in an alley behind the restaurant. The service was convivial, the food excellent well presented and with innovative combinations of ingredients. Not sure whether English is spoken as we were able to converse in French, but communication should be no problem. This meal was the highlight of a very enjoyable day spent with friends in Agen. a party with friends, our table was in a small street behind the restaurant, not too close to the other guests.Some took the surprise menu of the chef served only in the evening and they were not disappointed. a real pleasure and especially the curiosity of discovering all the ingredients that were used for this menu. beautiful discovery last night at agen. has two we have tasted 5 of the dishes of the map. all original and delicious. for these very reasonable rates it makes good to have recipes sought, with very fresh dishes. the leader dares to get out of the beaten paths and the result is there. Thank you for this good meal. we will renew without moderation!. under a more favorable sky, we will test the terrace.
Just perfect! restaurant located in the hyper center of anagen, in a charming street. possibility of lunch on the terrace. The dishes are really delicious, the dishes are well valued, the reception and the service are really very warm. side price 17€ the menu of the day on the noon with input-plat-dessert: excellent value for money!
