We came here for dinner over the weekend after my in laws said how great this restaurant is. We started with chicken tikka which came with 4 pieces and 4 of the mince kebab. The chicken tasted like it was a couple of days old and the mince had way too much seasoning in it. I felt like I was tasting more of the flavours rather than the actual meat. There was a lot of chilli flakes in it, I love chilli but would have also liked to have tasted the meat. We then ordered 4 curry dishes, palak paneer, butter chicken, lamb brains and another with a lamb shank. All they were all nice, I just found them to be quite average. It didn't wow me like other Pakistan or Indian restaurants have. I will admit...
The restaurant has an authentic Pakistani flavour. We had a brunch with the puri, halva and cholay that was rich, delicious and fresh! Beverages of choice were delicious with a generous mango lassi and two cups of chai fresh. The food and drinks were delicious the staff was friendly and efficient. The restaurant is however new after being located up the road and is in the process of being unpacked and cleaned. The floors are slippery too so be careful. Looking forward to return soon!
If you want to try authentic Pakistani food this place is a must to visit. Overlook the decor and you will discover a menu full of flavour . Serving sizes are generous the food fresh with just the right amount of spice. Service is friendly and prompt. I tried the palak paneer and the paneer was melt in your mouth. The vegetable biranyi was excellent. The prices are below what I've paid elsewhere for similar dishes. I will visit here again.
I have tried their Palak Panir, Lamb Karahi, Paye, daal makhni, chicken chargha, haleem, nihari, halwa puri, samosa with chatni sauce. Amazing taste!! the closest possible to the real taste from your hometown. Must try, do not forget to order Sweet Lassi to knock off the deal;) do not drive after having this meal, you will surely dose off at the wheel. Do not order fish, noodles or rice here as its not their specialty.

Was looking for authentic Pakistani food and identified 2 places in/around Sydney - Faheem Fast Food and Lahori Dhaba. Enjoyed both places but found Lahori Dhaba to be better both in terms of food quality and cleanliness/ambience of the place. The only con is that it is not centrally located like Faheem. So if you can get there, it will definitely be worth it! Also, very reasonably priced.
Apart from tandoori chicken i think most of the dishes were little above average the hotel prices are not so cheap but atmosphere is cheap need a lot of improvement inside section .. A lot of noise from road cars passing and feels very open should have some privacy from road
I've been there a couple of times for Breakfast and Dinner. This is the only place in Sydney where you can enjoy authentic Halwa Puri. Also if you are going for dinner then my recommendations would be Nihari, Paya and Brain Masala. Absolutely amazing taste....More
Full variety menu, delicious food. To enjoy the full variety do visit bit early for dinner. Sometime restaurant is running out of stock. Ambiance is good. They have a family hall. Food quality and quantity is good. Not much spicy... love to visit again.
