We recently dined at a restaurant at Pine Lake during our stay. We had a reservation for 7:30pm and were seated promptly upon arrival. Our drink order was taken a few minutes later by a friendly server who was helpful in answering our questions. After placing our food order, we experienced a long wait before our meals were served. It took nearly an hour for our food to arrive, and there was a lack of communication from the staff about the delay. Despite having 4 staff members for 16 tables, there seemed to be confusion in service. After finishing our meal, we had to wait again for our plates to be cleared and for the dessert menu. We were staying at pine lakes for the weekend celebrating a birthday with family, so went to the restaurant for ease, and unfortunately were disappointed. The food was underwhelming nothing too wrong but things like the katsu curry and fajitas just lacked any flavour. One of our chicken wings was raw in the centre after a brief back and forth about whether it really was, they did knock it off the bill. The ambience as well was a bit dated, and stuck between trying to be formal and a casual on site restaurant but not hitting either. It certainly didn’t warrant the price. We stayed at Pine Lakes for 4 nights and used the bar and restaurant a few times during our stay. Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff throughout. Orders taken and food arrived promptly. The menu has quite a good choice, on our first visit we opted for the Chicken burger with fries and the homemade steak and ale pie, washed down with a lovely bottle of Chardonnay, absolutely delicious and no complaints. Our next visit we had the scampi and chicken fajitas, again both dishes were excellent. Enjoyable visits and would definitely recommend
During our walk along Capernwray and the River Keer, we stopped at Pine Lake for a quick drink. There were plenty of seating options inside and outside, but we chose to sit outside to enjoy the views of the lake on this beautiful day. The staff in the bar were friendly and welcoming, and they had a good selection of drinks at reasonable prices. The setting was peaceful and the views were stunning.

Being Diamond Hilton members, we were staying at Pine Lake Resort and went to Lakes Bistro each evening over the past week. Enough choice on the menu to have different dishes all of which were very tasty and decent sized portions. Good choice of well priced drinks (wine, beer) along with excellent, friendly staff made each meal a pleasure.
During our three-night stay, my wife and I decided to have a few drinks and order Fish and Chips to takeaway from the restaurant on our first night. The meals were delicious and reasonably priced, typical of what you would expect at a holiday resort. The staff, both behind the bar and serving, were very friendly.
Staying at Pine Lakes resort so decided to eat in their restaurant on our first evening. Fairly basic restaurant room but the staff were excellent. All food and drinks orders taken promptly with a smile. Food delivered in good time and excellent. Enjoyable meal. Would recommend.
Lovely food and service but restaurant itself lacked warmth and atmosphere. Background music, plants, booth seating would create interest. It doesn't look or feel like a welcoming restaurant. Good menu options and especially for vegetarian diets. Food is reasonably priced.

Excellent food and a great party night Christmas menu was really tasty. Service was excellent and the entertainment was really special.
