We enjoyed a lovely lunch at this restaurant. They have an excellent selection of wines and serve tasty, fresh comfort food in a cozy setting with various seating choices. The decor is somewhat basic and utilitarian, which makes things like spilled food on the floor more noticeable. Since this is a busy establishment, it's understandable that things can get hectic, but it's important for servers and hosts to check under the tables before seating guests. The service was efficient, though somewhat routine, but our food came out quickly. It is a bit on the pricey side, but the high quality of the food makes it worth it!
Very nice, clean and tastefully decorated restaurant along side of Macy's. Enter from either Macy's or the front of the grill. The complimentary basket of Popovers is super delicious. We had the Asian chicken salad and a Soup and Turkey sandwich combo for lunch. Both yummy. Desert was a shared slice of choclate mint ice cream pie. Oh man, it was good. (See photos of the meal. No photo of popovers as they were gobbled up before I had a chance for a pic) Service was good. A nice place for a lunch.
For a department store restaurant, the food is pretty good. I usually enjoy the themes such as Oktoberfest. Her schnitzel is with an average German (I lived there for 4 years). The Cinco de Mayo was also pretty good. I love the Marmeladeburger and the wild rice soup. This means that the service and food quality is met or measured. And the manager tends not to give a flip. But stay calm and finally she gets killed.
Ate here for the first time today, super delicious and great variety of food. I did however find it a bit awkward that our waitress removed our payment/bill from our table BEFORE we had a chance to leave. I hope she knows better to not do that again. We took a break from shopping, and I have to say the atmosphere is really charming and stylish. Your **** Marys were fantastic; the blend was excellent! I ordered a burger without the bun and was a bit let down by how it was cooked, but their Ranch Dressing was absolutely perfect! The service was great as well.
We happen to like the bar area. Very comfortable place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine and visit. Very relaxing atmosphere. All the food we have had has been excellent. The staff is friendly and service is good.
I always return to this place! The food is fantastic and incredibly affordable. Additionally, you can eat and leave in no time. Delicious, authentic meals at a great price – it’s a definite winner!
