New review: 3/4/23When Lakewood Fish opened and for some time (before Covid and then later during Covid) their food, service and food quality has traveled backwards from my original rating of 5 stars to 1, because most of our $71.00 meal was extremely disappointing!The grilled Grouper was tough and tasteless, the fried Walleye was tough and served without tartar sauce. Both entries were unbearable. The appetizer was Red Shrimp was not much better. The 2 sides of Smoked Grits we're as usual...good and the 2 sides of Brussel Sprouts we're good...thus my review of 1 star. We would gladly pay more for a good meal. This is doubly disappointing because I had a phone conversation with the lady taki...
The service was good. The food was good and was out timely. However, this place is on the expensive side and their portion sizes are incredibly small. I received a small cup of coleslaw that was only less than half full. Our plates had us thinking that the restaurant was struggling and trying to cut costs. Although the food was good we won't return due to the appetizer size portions.
Was good for lunch while traveling through. I expected a little bit more on the gator bites for the price since there's a large size and a small serving. I didn't get to the point of counting, but it definitely looked on the smaller side. Was pretty quiet when we arrived but might be a good place for a beer later.
I ordered fried catfish and my husband ordered alligator tacos. Both were amazing and cooked perfectly. The guacamole that came with his tacos was absolutely the best I’ve ever had. The baked oysters as an appetizer was spot on.
What an absolute delight! The Mahi Mahi, Red Snapper, Collard Greens, Rice, Fried Okra, Stuffed Clams, and Seafood Chowder were all exquisite! Service was incredible as well! We will be back!?Food: 5/5
The blueberry martini was good and strong, but a little pricey. The catfish was wonderful and shrimp tacos were good too. Would def go back.Food: 4/5

I got the half shrimp and fish platter and at $25 it should have been better. Very bland.
