L'alimentation Generale La Passarelle

Just behind the old port is this cool little street with L'Alimentation Générale and a couple of other hip restaurants. The decor is great and reminds me of a bar in Mexico or Brazil. We went there for an early dinner, staff were very friendly and the food was delicious although there was not a huge amount of choice it's kind of a tapas place you choose several small plates. I've heard in the busier months (August is pretty quiet in Marseille) that the bar area gets packed with people spilling onto the street and it's a great place to hang out. In any case, we will definitely be going back!

Always a nice place but on the other hand, the famous lamb shoulder that was previously magnificent for two people is now considered for three people while it is still of the same size but it is especially its price that has increased....80€ now. In summary, it is more than 40€ for two than for three so far too expensive for the quantity... That's a big change! In addition, entries are not very copyy. Too bad because if it goes on, this beautiful restaurant can lose its customers!

Super evening of 14 July with an EPD formula at 40€ with succulent dishes! The place is superb, quiet and super pleasant with a large garden type space. The dishes are in good quantity and real quality, with good ingredients. The service is super nice and smiling, although it has not apologized for not having the desserts requested (when bringing them and not during the order). But a great night in this beautiful place!

A lot more interesting than 'La Passarelle ' same owner. Starring: Mathieu, with a fresh cuisine based on simple delicious tapas, all at 6 € 3 € for a glass of wine.
