Visited the Restaurant for a Birthday Meal (June 2021 . Service was rather slow (perhaps it was the relaxed atmosphere? and a complimentary aperitif of a butternut squash whip, served in a small coffee cup, looked rather like something you find on the end of a tissue. The fillet of beef was served luke-warm, but nevertheless, it was beautifully presented. The portions (yes, this is fine dining, so you don 't get much anyway were slimmer than Victoria Beckman 's legs ! Having waited over 30 minutes to eventually place an order for desert, it was easy to believe, that the staff had gone off to a local fruit farm to pick the ingredients for the tart. An experience ? We hadn’t visited L’amuse Bouche since the latest lockdown, so we had fingers crossed that standards hadn’t dropped, how silly of us to even have such concerns, the food, service and experience is as good as ever and really is quite superb. We visited with friends who we have taken before and they were desperate to go back and they, like us, weren’t disappointed. A warm welcome on arrival in a Covid safe environment, with super efficient and jovial staff who really wanted you to have an enjoyable experience. It's an imposing Victorian building a short walk from the town centre and although it looks a little formal, don't be put off as the welcome, service and food at L'Amuses Bouche are all excellent. We enjoyed a full three courses and although there isn't a huge choice, we tried a variety of the dishes and they were universally great. The staff were lovely, the atmosphere informal and we would certainly visit again. Highly recommended and a lovely place for a meal.
What a lovely and long awaited evening spent at the restaurant. The Chef was in fine fettle with a beautiful chilled starter, the prawn starter was just as delicious as I remembered and the cheese soufflé main was a triumph!!Front of house was attentive and considerate. Excellent service, very friendly environment , terrific menu choices and delicious food.A truly lovely place to go on any occasion with the service being second to none and the food was exquisite.We were there on a couples weekend away and found the atmosphere to be most welcoming.We had a lovely surprise by the waiter bringing us an Amuse Bouche which set the tone immediately.I would strongly recommend the Tiger Prawns followed by the Fillet of Beef.
After reading glowing reviews, we can confirm that this charming restaurant lives up to its reputation. The food and service are impeccable, the atmosphere is elegant, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable for the quality. My friends and I were thoroughly impressed and are already planning our next visit.
I came back to this restaurant on Sunday after not going for a while, and I still think it's the best in Malvern. The food quality and service are amazing, and considering the quality, the price is excellent value for money. It's a real hidden gem.
