My wife and I dined here on a summer evening and feel like we got a real taste of the local area. Bustling but not too busy upon arrival (7.30pm we sat inside but there is a nice outside seating area also. Menus are only in German so get ready to google translate if you don't speak the language. However it is worth the German lesson as there is a lot of interesting choice. We enjoyed the crudités and fresh bread with cream cheese upon arrival with a reasonably priced glass of local sekt (4€ and homemade venison pâté goat cheese salad with apricots to start. More on the apricots later. Mains focus on local meats fish but veggie options are available. We both had pork, one with a garlic cream...

Four of us enjoyed a very nice dinner here. The location was a bit out of the way from our hotel in Krems, but it was not difficult to find, and the ambience of the country inn setting added to our experience. Some of the dishes we enjoyed were beef tartare, lobster bisque, mixed salads, weinerschnitzel (of course! and local fish. All were delicious and nicely presented. We did have a few laughs at the menu translations from Google Lens, but our server was fluent in English and was very helpful.

This restaurant used to be hidden gem with attendive staff, big portions and tasty food. Unfortunately it is past. The staff ignore you, everything takes long time of waiting, the food is nothing special and portions are smaller. Quality went very down, but the prices stayed high. It is pity.

We had a nice lunch at That restaurant . The food was tasty and the service is friendly. It is a very special design restaurant with good atmosphere in a beautiful area. We love it.
