The food was absolutely delicious specially my dish, salmon steak with spinach for lunch. The service is impeccable. Some of them can speak english very well. I have a chance talking to one of the chef, saying how nice the food is. He might not understand my poor german with busy look but I can see his attention and how he enjoy his cooking. Conclusion, food is impeccably delicious, service is excellent, price is a bit high but understandable. So next time When I come back to Herisau, I will visit this restaurant again.
Every time I visit Herisau I am looking forward to eat out in this restaurant. Service is always very good and food is top notch. I had several different meals for dinner, each one was fantastic, but I must say that I love the Calf Gordon...Blue with potatoes the most. It is one of my all time favorite meals and I travel and eat out quite a lot. I fully recommend it to all my friends visiting area, I am sure that I will come back next time I am in area as well.
I highly recommend this restaurant if you ever find yourself in area! Splendid atmosphere and the service was five-star! Waitresses were friendly, smiley, and made you feel welcome. Food was superb! Husband had the steak which was cooked to perfection and I had the fish...and spinach and it was equally as good! I would definitely go back and plan on taking family members when the come to visit! Great place!
