I visited this Landzeit about 8 years ago and had nice memories so I returned in April 2014. It was a real disappointment. The prices were not clearly written and nobody to ask for help. We ended up paying 33 euros for two persons and stayed really hungry. The potato and mushrooms were cold. Nobody to serve us with soup, so gave up asking for it. Wanted to get information on the fruit juices and the lady in charge was horribly unfriendly, first pretended not to hear, and then quickly said someting in German showing that there is no use asking, she is not willing to ask any questions. The tables were not too clean and it was not clearly indicated where the exit is. The whole place had an atmo...
Here at the Landzeit - Voralpenkreuz you enjoy your stopover the most, since it has delicious food in buffet style, so you see what you will get, and fluffy desserts. So here you get authentic and delicious Austrian food. There is also the possibility to rent rooms at the Landzeit, but we only stayed there two times for desserts and snacks on the way to Linz and from Linz, which is about 40 km and 25 minutes away.I highly recommend to spend some time in this Landzeit Restaurant when you are on the road from Munich via Salzburg to Vienna or vice versa. Wir haben oft in Hotels der Landzeit-Kette in Österreich übernachtet. In den letzten zwei Jahren konnten wir einen Rückgang an Qualität und Service feststellen. Die Zimmer sind bereits veraltet und müssen modernisiert werden, ebenso wie der Zimmerpreis. Ihre Stärke ist das Frühstück. Es ist sehr reichhaltig und hat für jeden Geschmack etwas zu bieten. Auch die Bar mit frischen Säften ist großartig. Zusammenfassend lässt sich sagen: Es ist ein guter Ort, wo man Frühstück, Mittag- oder sogar Abendessen einnehmen kann, aber zu diesem Preis gibt es viel bessere Optionen für die Unterkunft.
This was probably the worst lunch I had in a long time. I had "Leberkase", which didn't taste of anything, with potatos, half of them not properly cooked and covered in some disgusting spice, and mushrooms, which were ok. Staff was not interested in the customers at all, and all the time some nerve wrecking jazz music was playing in the background. And it is not cheap, quite the opposite !! From tyhe faces of my fellow travellers I could see that they were not impressed either.....
Very clean and tidy rooms and good food! We eat and stayed there on our journey from UK to Turkey July 2012. My husband lost his purse and we could not find it anywhere on that night. When we were about to check out next morning Reception staff gave us my husband's purse. Cleaners found it when they were cleaning at night. WOW! We decided to stay there again this year. RECOMMENDED!!
Das Hotel ist für die Qualität der Zimmer zu teuer. Aber das Badezimmer ist seltsam. Sie haben eine Schiebetür. Sie können entweder den Raum für den Toilettensitz oder den Duschraum schließen. Und die Tür ist überhaupt nicht dicht. Denken Sie nur an den Geruch im Zimmer, wenn Sie auf der Toilette etwas ganz Normales tun. Das Essen schmeckt durchschnittlich, aber wahnsinnig teuer.
On the way to Salzburg we stopped for a quick lunch. Hot food, soups, sandwich, serve yourself salad and delicatessen, cakes, wines. Price is on the high side but I guess everything is pricey in Austria. Clean swiss austria interior.
Really nice place with all kinds of food, drink and lots of other "STUFF". A bit pricey, and I still can't get used to paying water closets! There's no place I know of in the U.S. that one could compare this to!
Restaurant for wealthy travelers, trying to present gourmet dishes, but without success .The prices are only for gourmet dishes, attention to small buns burn in price
