A significant lack of communication from the kitchen to the house. The king shrimps I had were not detoxified during the prep and were served in a crazy fusion of chili in a white wine garlic butter consommé, which just tasted strangely. The cheesecake base on the menu so dense that you could not eat it and should be served with coconut ice cream, but it came with vanilla. No coconut left obvious and no explanation made before the order. The huge chips I had with my fillet steak were not cooked enough. We had a good experience and the food was really good. Especially enjoyed the fresh warm breads. Was disappointed that the fish was not available, so ended with the Veg Risotto. It was delicious and a generous part. Was there in a very quiet time so not much atmosphere. I want to come back an evening with a group of friends.
The service was friendly and efficient, the ambiance was beautiful, but parking was a bit far away. The traditional steak menu falls short compared to the new Argentine-style restaurants in the area, but the ribs are outstanding. I will definitely be returning for them.

Despite being flagged as closed on Sundays in Yelp (cough cough, update pls ;), we gave Coach House a call to see if they were open - my folks were in town,
If you're looking for a casual and welcoming atmosphere that feels like a cozy pub, but with a restaurant setting, I highly recommend this place.
Prawns were delicious and Bailey's dessert was great. Steaks were unfortunately overcooked. Medium rare came out well done.
