Let me say I’m not a difficult person but…I have to give an honest review because I was very disappointed. Mozzarella salad was delicious Octopus meal was nice portion and delicious. Steak no taste , undercooked and dry. They changed it with lamb chops and was hard as the table I was served on. The house wine was so disgusting. Now about the service. Two managers running the place, one dark hair doing her best and agreeing the steak was hard and not eatable, she was doing her best to offer us something different from the menu, but the other blonde hair manager WOW… wow… wow, not only she didn’t care and was sitting outside kissing her boyfriend the whole time, but she had the nerve to come a...
There is no doubt that this restaurant represents good value for money. The rib eye steak at €25 is an illustration, although the salad to accompany the steak is a joke, two slices of tomato and a lot of lettuce leaves. Our main concern was the heat that is generated from the barbecue grill which cooks the aforementioned steaks. It makes sitting towards the back of the restaurant very hot when the door of the grill opens and for anyone uncomfortable with heat, insist on a table to the front, or in the summer months al fresco.
Nice little restaurant in nice and quiet surroundings but just a few blocks away from everything. The food is excellent, we had entrecote and burger. A lot of food : . The restaurant was fullybooked and the staff tried to help the ones with no reservations, very helpful but stressed (fully understandable . The outdoor seating, at the same side of the pavement as the restaurant was tight, for outdoor seating please ask for seating in the area closest to the street.
The meal was good but not great. Service could also have been better. A pity as the reviews were great. We had to ask for the sauce we had ordered as it didn’t come. The mixed starter was slightly bland. The steak slightly gristly I Think we maybe got an off night. Not really bad but not as good as we had hoped
