My partner and I visited Lao Laan-Xang for a late lunch yesterday. We loved it. Southeast Asian is my favorite cuisine, and Lao-Laan-Xang did not disappoint. It's a fairly small space and there were only two tables when we arrived @2:30. Our waitress was friendly and competent. She sat us at our table and gave us a few minutes to peruse the menu. We ordered a couple of beers and an appetizer plate and she warned us that it might take a little while for the drinks since she was under age. However, it was not long before the owner brought them out. ordered take-out here for four people - fantastic service and eat! many good vegetarian options and their flavor levels were consistent as advertised. my two stars curry was spicy enough to be tasteful, but not so much that it hurts while my partner four stars native seasoned dish made my face flush and my ears burn after just one bit! the staff was very friendly and helpful and our order was as desired. especially appreciated their patient and perfection when I put my order on the phone. it really enjoyed eating here and will make a point to come back when we are in town!
one of the best places ever. had people with very different taste in my group and all loved it. large vegetarian options. space is small for dunes in. outing is fast and very good!
Loooove this place but be warned that their dishes are SPICY! They do let you choose the spice level, so don't let that turn you away from this delicious

The spices.so good. I tend to like my food spicy but still find myself ordering the "careful" level of heat here.
