We stopped here after seeing "burger auvergnat" on the menu for 15€ with chips and salad. Unfortunately the hamburgers turned out to be an industrial type bun with an overcooked beefburger, a lonely slice of tomato and hardly any sauce and cheese, the chips are thin frozen ones and the salad was probably the only fresh ingredient on the plate. I was also surprised by the fact that the waiter never asked how we wanted our meat, first time I've seen that in France for a "restaurant" burger. The food wasn't actually terrible but no good at all for the price, this was probably worth 10€ at the most. Celebrated our son's 9th birthday at the resturant. Friendly and welcoming staff, good service and excellent food. Our waiter advised us that we had ordered too much food and assisted us in paring down our selection, he was right as we only just managed to finish the revised order. We had the stuffed peppers and frio grais de maison to start, followed by the truffade, rib of beef, steak and pork rib all excellent and fairly priced. Although we didn't order the tripe with lentils it looked very tasty too.
The night I ate in L'Arbalete, it was the only restaurant opened in Murol and so it was pretty busy. But I arrived early and was housed on a beautiful outdoor table. The place looked simple and welcoming. Service was very friendly. I had a truffade that was pretty tasty, but should have been put on a table heater to keep it cold. Nevertheless, with a beautiful beer it was a pleasantly simple dinner.
We spent a very good moment on the terrace and the staff is very welcoming and welcoming. The menu is very original and tasty. We tried the french burger with good bread, tasty meet and Saint-Nectaire cheese with truffade! The service was done quickly.

We went for lunch with a friend who works close by and we were not disappointed every thing was cooked to perfection especially the truffard which was excellent.Service was quick and we were well looked after.
One of our best meals while in France. The fondue was just the best! Excellent creme brulee. Great, friendly service and great atmosphere. Very reasonable prices.
