at 14:30 we entered the terras and sat in an annoyed corner, so our dog would not have any hardships. after a past, the waiter went by and laughs at a very rude way what we thought to go and sit somewhere (whole place was empty.) he still went away and sweared. I decided to go after him to ask him what his problem was. that swear was worse and he was no longer reasonable at all. he told us to take, he wouldn't care less. I was tied and could not believe my ears and decided to speak to the manager. she explained this ridiculous situation. she was not surprised, knew exactly who I was complaining about. that's it. apparently there are so many tourists that they can afford to treat them like th...
my wife and I ate the menu selection that worked perfectly for us. I had a goose cheese salad and my wife had a goat cheese salad as an appetizer, not sure for which one of the two was better than they should both die! as our head. we have enjoyed a real good piece steak from the region. the pfeffer sauce was amazing and the chips were of very good quality (I like it when chips are not treated as an unimportant next dish.) as desert I enjoyed a chestnut fondant and my wife had the chocolate fond. my wife fought to protect her when I tried to attack her. it was amazing! the staff was very friendly for us. everything in everything. we had a perfect experience at L’ ardenave.
We visited this lovely restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. The location is great as the restaurant over looks a river with cliff back drop. The food was excellent and perfectly cooked and was so much better value compared to other restaurants in the area. The...best part however was the service provided by our waitress. She spoke very good English (I know I should be able to speak French) and provided us with an English menu something that other restaurants haven't done. Really couldn't fault any part of the meal and restaurant.
In the beautiful village of Labeaume, this beautiful cafe/restaurant situated right by the river. What a spot. Though we were not hungry to try the food but were able to order only coffee. The server was absolutely helpful and spoke very good English. She told...us this is the best time to visit before the tourist crowd and summer holiday season when this area is very busy. Labeaume village is an absolute delight to explore on foot and see its natural beautiful cliffs.
Great food and great location! The restaurant was recommended by the owners of our hotel. We were a party of ten and enjoyed different dishes from pizzas to one of their house specialties, pork knuckle, all of which were very good. Their service was very...friendly and we had a good laugh with the staff. The terrace of the restaurant is lovely placed with a splendid view on the river La Beaume.
after the check menu and specialities outside we decided to have coffee and dessets. until the waiter told us it was not possible because the cook warns there and those dessets were not available. do you need a cook to serve a dessert? or just a more efficient...worker? none of them seemed to work there. they do not know what a latte macchiatto is or what is saccharine. was it a café business?
Three visits in 2 years: very nice every single time! Very friendly service, excellent food, beautiful location. If you are nearby, do visit this place. The town is beautiful, the beach is nice and you'll definately enjoy the restaurant. Thank you Rhea for your service...and friendlyness every time. Perhaps we'll meet again next year.
Went for the pizzas as we wanted some simple and tasty food. We weren't disappointed. The menu is large. Once we saw that they had a charcuterie starter, we ordered one for the four of us (2 2 children). We loved it. So did...the children. And the pizzas were delicious with thin crusts. You'll enjoy it.
Beautiful spot on the river front and very nice meal. We hadn’t booked and they were very busy but they squeezed us in and we had a lovely meal. The waitress was really helpful and friendly and the food was good. Would thoroughly recommend eats...my here. It was friendly and informal and we enjoyed it.
