Typically French ski area, but undeniably one of the best hi-altitude resorts in the world. The ski lift system is supported by the French government and is designed and planned amazing well with awesome uphill capacity meaning you hardly ever have to queue for a lift even when the resort is busy. Some of the Arcs are what I would call French brutalistic alpine architecture, they are purpose built going back to the 1970s/80s. Arc 1950 is like a Disney version of an alpine village but cute none the less. The French are generally good humoured and great fun to be around, food is of course excellent at every price point, but don't expect this to be cheap 2000m up a mountain. All in all definite...
At first, I confused about how to go skiing in Les Arcs there's no details information about the transportation. It should be nice if there's one, and maybe they can put it in Bourg-St-Maurce Station. By the way, if this is your first time, find funicular in google maps, if you show your train tickets to the officer, you can enter it for free. This funicular will bring you to les arc 1600, if you want to go to les arc 1800, 1950, 2000 you have to use the bus, and it's free.
The Arcs is this station that makes you vibrate. Summer like winter, it's wonderful. Heat, full of life, we can only love him. Winter you can ski, enjoy without worries. The many shops allow to avoid having to go down to supply. In summer you can also do a lot of activities: walk, with always this breathtaking view! There are also open shops in the summer. The arcs is the station that can't disappoint, perhaps when we leave, we are quickly disappointed to leave.
this station (arcs 1800) is excellent, great trails, rdv atmosphere. we are regulars winter as summer for the first time I am surprised and disappointed that in this end of season the majority of restaurants are closed, that there are no family activities either. I have the impression that the last area has been forgotten damage

the arcs remain one of the super connected domains between the track, for speed fans and Zenititude fans, you descend from the red needle to the bottom of peissey, no problem you even need to go through a chairlift, and you will cross any kind of track including off-roads. I order this domain strongly.
There is not to say, it is the best ski resort in France. It is gigantic, landscapes of unparalleled beauty. In the middle of the season, there is certainly a world, but the view is patient!
