We ordered Thé Ceylan pour deux from the friendly waitress, and an older one brought us a pot of what didn 't seem to be Ceylon tea but then the first waitress spotted the error and brought us the correct beverage which was excellent and made nearly 2 cups each. When I went to pay I was surprised that we only seemed to be charged for 1 tea (2.80 euros) but it turned out that the price on the menu was for the pot. PS A couple of days later we bought ham and cheese sandwiches (half a baguette each) which were delicious.
This ideally located patisserie/restaurant offers a small selection of value for money lunch items (sandwiches and salads). It also sells a great selection of excellent patisseries, breads and ice cream. As a sandwich restaurant, we expected to be served fairly quickly but the one waitress could not have worked faster. It is a shame as we would otherwise have gone back not so much for the quality of the salads but for its value.
We only got take away but the baguettes were really fresh and crisp. Cakes also lovely. This has a sister bakery in the next village which also has a grocery store handy as we arrived on a Sunday off season and needed some provisions.
This is a great bread and cake shop that now has a cafe attached. You can have a coffee and choose one of their delicious cakes or a larger snack. And watch the world wonder by along the street as you enjoy it!
