Parking can be quite challenging in this area, so I recommend arriving before lunch or after lunch hours for the best chances. The weekends tend to be particularly busy. It’s important to note that this is not a traditional wait-service restaurant; you order at the counter and then find a seat. A waiter will bring your order to your table, and while tipping is suggested, it’s not mandatory. As for parking, it can be limited, with some days making it harder to find a spot than others. Street parking can be tricky too, especially on holidays—your best bet might be to park in Reseda and enjoy a nice walk to the restaurant.
This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in all of Los Angeles! You can’t go wrong with nearly anything on the menu – it’s all delicious. Come hungry, though, because the portions are enormous! My personal favorite is the Al Pastor plate or the Al Pastor burrito, and adding a side of rice and beans will take you straight to Mexican food heaven! If you want to experience what heaven tastes like, this is the place.
My first experience at Las Fuentes was back in 1986 when I was a teenager, and I haven't stopped going there whenever I crave delicious Mexican food. Every bite is just as good as the first!
