L'Atelier has been open one month and is owned by the dynamic Johanna She has moved from nearby Sete and is passionate about her restaurant. She is opening seven days a week for lunch and dinner until she discovers a ' quiet ' day to close and rest. Four of us started with either a beetroot or gazpacho mise en bouche. Then followed salad beautifully presented with slices of melon, fruits and many wonderful vegetables. My friends had Iberica ham with their salad, but as a vegetarian, I had goats cheese. The main course was chicken and prawns, ratatouille and hand cut chips. All cooked to perfection. I had monkfish and langoustine. Then came dessert. There were only two home made apricot tarts...
Spotted this small restaurant while walking around Pezenas. Stopped in for a quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised. A really very good salade aux gesiers confit with a more than generous slab of pate de foie gras. A very drinkable half carafe of local wine added to the meal. Just short of perfect as my wife's salade avec chevre chaud was a little disappointing. Recommended though for a fast and tasty lunch
Booked this restaurant meal on 13 March 2020 , as a thank you for our superb French friends Claude Isabelle,to say thank you for being such incredible hosts. We were not disappointed, Joanne was bubbly, helpful and very customer oriented, the ambiance was relaxed..., the food was magnificent, the wines were high quality and reasonably priced we had a great night, We definitely recommend.
Second time we have been to the restaurant and it is still as good as our memories. Fantastic hosts that make you feel welcome and well informed on the locality of the food. Everything cooked to perfection and some really interesting flavour combinations A must...visit if you’re in town you will not be disappointed. Thanks guys for a lovely experience hope to see you again in the future

johanna and her cooker are wonderful people with a delicious restaurant. I was in pezenas 3 times a year and ive went here 1/2x every visit. there is always brave and an amuse bouche of suppe to start. the meal is always delicious from...starter to dessert. if they have pavlowa for dessert, order it. the best of all time!
We stopped in for a bite of lunch while in Pezenas. The food was very tasty and fresh. Also reasonably priced. Nice and quiet place at which locals were also eating lunch. They did take a VISA card.
joanna declares with great passion all this beautifully presented eating including his coming. in a quiet street, they have an excellent culinary experience
