This very good restaurant was recommended and so good we ate there twice. The savoury Gallette are the best I have ever had, plenty of choice and very filling. Starters and dessert also good, they have a small but good wine list. We also had the steak option on the second visit also great, our waitress both evenings was fabulous and so helpful especially the first night after a long drive from the uk we almost fell asleep at the table ! Overall brilliant so highly recommend and shall return. Oh yes we got lucky and managed to get a table both nights, suggest booking on a Friday-Saturday evening as very popular.
We took our friends here. It was their first visit to Esperaza and the creperie is the only place worth eating in. We were not disappointed or embarrassed as our friends enjoyed their food so much. They are both vegetarians and were delighted with the...choices available to them. We did not have the set menu but chose from the carte and then had dessert afterwards. This was all washed down with tasty wine from the Anne de Joyeuse vineyard. Thank you for another great meal and evening and for the excellent service.
It is amazing to comprehend the variety of things that one can do with a crepe, but this delightful little restaurant does it well.They offer a wide selection of crepes and salads, from time to time a very fine steak from a local butcher, and sell some terrific pottery on the side!The service is great, the ambiance comfortable and for locals and visitors alike, The Creperie (or L'Atelier" is the "go to" place for a bite in Esperaza.
Maybe I 'm biased as I live in town, but have been here frequently in past couple of years and have always found it a good, inexpensive meal. Very pleased to take friends when they visit and usually do. Specialises in galettes, but there are other...options. our first visit has enjoyed us here very much. I chose the 18 euro three cursor meal, to begin with a small salad, breton galette for main and ice cream dessert. all freshly cooked and delicious, with a local red wine. the restaurant was immaculate clean and. clean and the service was excellent. a great place for an informal eating

We go to L'Atelier regularly and it never disappoints. Tasty filled pancakes, savoury and sweet, with a range of specials and salads also. Really good value for money. Friendly, efficient and speedy service. Highly recommended.

Nice variety in menu even though the specialize in crepes ( which I have not tried yet). The daily specials are affordable and delicious. Great desserts. Very pleasant staff. Clean bathroom!
