We were there for lunch. first the positive points: nice place with a very beautiful view. young, friendly and dynamic team. now the negative points that explain the stars.: in fact, one negative point, they are the fried mussels. I'm an amateur and love this dish. mussels still had the byssus, this hard material that holds the mussel has its support at sea. Very unpleasant. Then the preparation and taste were more than simplistic. I'm sure we'll be able to answer that this is the end of the season, but at this point we don't have to offer any more. Too bad.
Beautiful view. fast and efficient waitress. friendly staff. On the other hand, it is not worth coming to get bistronomy here. We pay clearly for the view. The cooking of meat and fish is perfect, but the cooking of vegetables... far from being mastered. Too bad, it spoils the pleasure of eating the dish. desserts good but no more, ideas sought but execution close to the mediocre. overall a good enough experience but not up to the hype.
We discovered this restaurant when they were still in the city center (under another name) and we really fell in love with it! After some research, we found it on the beach with an incredible view, always top quality cuisine and very friendly service. A must for us during our stays in Tregastel!
