We love Paris, it has so much to offer, food, fashion, architecture, etc... but Nantes is only 400km away from Paris by train, and it takes a little over 2 hours from Gare Montparnasse.La Bretagne Sud (South Brittany) is now a region famous for its clean foods, proximity to Atlantic Ocean means great fresh seafood, combine this with dedicated chefs and voila! you are exposed to culinary delights.On such occasion, we had dinner at L'Atlantide, a Michelin Star restaurant, Chef and owner Jean Yves Gueho. The retaurant offers spectacular menus with three different formulas at Euros 50-70-100, or al la Carte. A substantial wine list and guided by the Sommelier's expertise. Wonderful!
We had dinner here yesterday evening as a group of 12 . The restaurant is great from the location and view, the detail of the renovation, the acoustics and obviously the fantastic food. We had a glass of champagne on the Terrasse with some great finger food before sitting down and having a 3 course dinner. I had the lobster burger, which was excellent and interesting, thereafter I had duck with a very delicate sauce and rhubarb mousse with some sorbet on the side. This was all very excellent and not too much . The wine we had was special and I really enjoyed it. They actually have 4 rooms and if I would have known I would have stayed there. Fantastic place in Nantes !!
During the holidays this year of confinement, we spent Christmas and New Year at home with dishes that we took at the Atlantide 1874 of Jean Yves Guého. We are very happy with our choice: all dishes were without fault. The heat was easy. Nothing to say again. A special mention for deer and hare. Thank you, and warm congratulations. Good courage for the recovery as soon as possible.
Sat in the drive thru, been siting here for 10 mins now. Slowest one I've ever been to. It's lunchtime in Lexington. You should be faster than this!
