We stayed in a nearby village for a few nights. This restaurant looked amazing online, so we booked a table for dinner. It was a warm summer day and we got a table on the beautiful terrace with amazing valley views. Our Bulldog was welcome here as well. Parking is just out front. We both chose the three-course set menu, a bottle of water and a bottle of Pouilly-Fuisse (great wine). There was an amuse-bouche served first and then an appetizer. Both full of flavours and a work of art visually. For the starter we had the Foie Gras mi-cuit. We do love Foie Gras and this one here was among the very best we've ever had. Perfection. Very welcoming staff, high quality service and food. We went as a party of 12 and very much enjoyed the Easter menu. Special dietary requests were accommodated without question. Overall impression is of a friendly and not over pretentious establishment that serves Michelin style food to a very high standard.
Absolutely fabulous meal with the family. Fantastic setting with a lovely view, food was delicious and service was flawless. We enjoyed foie gras, beef carpaccio, cod, roast lamb, cheese trolley, noix dessert and strawberry soufflé all cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area.
Visited this restaurant for the 2nd time in August as we had enjoyed it the first time. Opted for the 6 course menu. The food was really bad, didn't taste and the plates layout was sloppy! The waiter didn't ask if the food was good. Certainly not a third time!
