L’auberge Provençale with a “e” at the end) is located in the remote village mons. mons is one of these older beautiful villages of Provence with so much character. the village is located on a height of 2700 ~800 meters and you can feel the...cooler temperature while taking the panoramic view from the village square. the restaurant is not very large, but uses the view with a terrace all around. the service is pleasant and eating well. there is nothing special or imagination, only simple good food competently prepared. the menu offers a relatiw large selection and there are 3 shapes: one at 15 euro with salade niçoise and dessert, one at 28 euro with choice of appetizers, choie of main dishes...
Eating lunch here on a sunny Sunday in October was just perfect. The view from the terrace is beautiful. We had a table on the east side, so mostly in the shade but with a light cardigan on, it was a perfect temperature. The food...here is simple, home cooked and very tasty. For 27 euro it was incredible value for money and the portions were so generous, I don't think I'll need to eat for at least another 24hours! This is a delightful place for lunch in a beautiful village well worth the drive up the hill from Fayence.
this restaurant really deserves stars the view on the terrace is breathtaking but think to reserve the places are limited but not that what a ravishing on the plate. Here we cook. I recommend the menu to very good quality price. The formula is very good but not for a big eater. nice freshness on the plates. service is kind but a reserved strand. the only negative point the fries are not home and it is really a pity. Everything was perfect.
A breathtaking panoramic view with a home-made kitchen.Two menus and in addition to a fare formula are in relation to the products that you are going to be served, they are homemade and fresh. We had a pleasant time with a “fast” and pleasant service even if we had been warned of a certain waiting because the restaurant was complete (it happened to us to wait much more in other places where we had not been bothered to inform us about it).

A nice discovery at the chance of a walk in the village at the time of lunch...a little hunger ...more room on the terrace with stunning views over all the beautiful hinterland..But whatever, the service, the accomodation, and especially the house kitchen relegates the view in the second plan... Thanks for this great moment of relaxation and pleasure
