Thought I would treat myself to a special lunch while in Montreal and chose this restaurant because of the Quebec City location's stellar reputation.The restaurant is lovely inside. The restaurant is rather small but they have created a space that is intimate, charming and elegant. Try to get a table near the windows. I tried the "chef chef" menu (blind tasting menu) hoping that this would give me a nice overview on what the kitchen could do.This menu was supposed to be a little more "daring" according to my waiter but I felt it was poor value. Rated 97th? Surely you jest. This has to be among the top five of all Montreal restos. We got the five-course tasting menu, substituting cheese for the dessert. The courses began to arrive. Have you ever had food so gorgeously presented that you felt guilty eating it? It was absolutely sculptural. The ingredients in every course were locally sourced, thoroughly delicious, and devoid of fat and, to a large extent, calories. And as for the tastes: extraordinarily complex and complementary. I received a gift certificate from someone so I went to try it out. It surpassed my expectation. It was very delicious. I had one appetizer (bone marrow is a must) and one main course then shared a dessert I was quite full. I would thought these type of restaurant that you wouldn't be full even because of their tiny portion but it was quite modest. A bit pricey but will definitely come back. Their service was good but I would expect more from a restaurant like this. The waiter and the suitor was polite and professional but would expect a more charismatic experience.

The bar still rocks in terms of beer selection and the staff are great too, very on the ball and attentive on our last visit.
