No view (location isn't great), but this resto is charming. Even better, the food. A really wonderful meal for much less than in Cannes itself. Truly a local secret. Menus start under 20 Euros for dinner, and always begin with a little tasting. Very popular at noon, make a reservation during August for lunch or dinner. The chef is from Alsace, but uses local fare superbly. On a recent visit we had lobster in a light champagne sauce that was wonderful. Enjoy!
We all chose a different menu, and none of us was disappointed, very much the opposite! What a great meal. I had called ahead to tell i was a celiac, and the staff said it was no problem at all. Wich was confirmed again as i arrived, and throughout the meal ! The owner checked with me when she was not hundred percent sure, but she actually knew already everything. The fish was delicious, and the scallops just so tender, perfect. A lovely atmosphere too, it felt cosy and nice. Service was fast, and the wine a pleasure. So yes, definitely to recommand, as the prices are also very reasonable ! We will be back.
Found this restaurant on wikitravel. We stayed just 4 bus stops away so thought we'd give it a try. Personally we thought the restaurant was simply and nicely decorated. The quality of food is much better than Cannes town centre for the same price. For a small restaurant there is a variety of choices. We went for the cheaper of the 2 set menu (at 26 Euro, the other one is 45Eur). The frog legs (entrees) and duck breast (main course) were superb. Food had lots of flavours. really recommend this even its about 10mins on the bus (about the third bus stop once u are on Ave Tonner).
We were tempted to go to this restaurant as a result of a Groupon offer. As it's not in the most chi chi part of Cannes, it's unlikely that we would have considered it without Groupon. What a most pleasant surprise it turned out to be, and we look forward to returning to sample more of their outstanding cuisine.All aspects of the dining experience were faultless, with great food, a small but interesting wine list, and pleasant and efficient service.

We went 2x to this restaurant when we stayed in La Bocca. If you want to experience a real French cuisine, this is the better option or best on around the area, La Bocca. The lady who our welcomed was very nice, spoke English. Overall, good service, did not take too long to get dish (as we have always hungry kids).
We are a Australian family of 4 with a 13 yr old girl and a 10 yr old boy. We have travelled from London to Wales to Paris to Marseille and now Nice over the past 2 weeks & this was our best meal yet. The steak was perfectly cooked & the service was excellent. Highly recommend!
Tried the menu of the day. The starter was perfect and delicious. The main course duck was a bit overdone. The long waited creme brule was sold out, which was a dissapointment. However, the alternatives were great.
We go on site almost every noon with my work colleagues, it’s really great!! The welcome is at the top, everything is perfect!
