On arrival, we were seated quite quickly, and they came to take our order quite quickly. The staff were very friendly. That's where the good news stops!I had the chicken pancake, I couldn't eat the chicken, the first few mouthfuls were ok, however I then had a mouthful of chicken, that I struggled to chew through, the only way to describe it would be how I imagine rubber to taste. I had to spit it into my napkin. We were a group of 4 adults and 4 children. The waiter was a really nice guy but something went terribly wrong in the kitchen. Don't know if it was a one off but our meal was awful! We waited for ages for our food......nothing special.....salad, skewers and burgers. Should not cause a huge problem to produce!! 2 of us were served......20 minute later another meal arrived and so on.....we all ate at different times. The meat was cold and burnt.....the 16 Euro salad was ridiculous.....soft drinks 4 Euros each. Looking at other tables we were not the only disappointed or should I say annoyed customers that evening. Out of the big choice of restaurants in this area we chose the worst one and end...
We had lunch here on what felt like the hottest day of the year. We took an outside table and then melted for the next hour or so.We ordered salads: mine a Caesar and my wife's a melon and Parma ham dish. We explained as best we could that my wife has a gluten allergy, and that she couldn't eat anything containing it. Despite this (hence the title of the review) the salads came somewhat bizarrely served in a crisp crepe. When we politely pointed out that this was exactly what we were trying to avoid, the staff could not have been more helpful. The food was good without being excellent and at 45 euros including a litre of San Pelligrino and four Cole zeros, represented good value,
Ended up here rather late during a summer night and I guess we picked this place because there was a table available. If you're looking for comfort food which is OK but nothing more, and service without a smile, this is the place you want to go to. Because of their location, along the promenade, they will always have people eating here, so this is probably why the staff does not really care. Expect longer waiting times when the terrace is full, and don't expect smiley service. Avoid the bruschetta, which is horrible. Other than that, the beef is ok. Expect to pay around 30 EUR per person, 1 or 32 drinks included. If you're looking for finer food, avoid.

Evening meal for 3, we all fancied beef burgers and chips – comfort food!! Having walked past after leaving another restaurant (Nautic), we were greeted and quickly seated, the staff well organised and well versed. The portions were generous and generally of a good quality, one of our beefburgers was cold but everything else was hot, all definitely freshly cooked, perhaps the cold burger had been waiting on the passe. Waiting staff were attentive but in no way overbearing. Good price as well working out around 20 Euro a head including a ¾ bottle of Rose.Would we return? – on balance yes
It is one of those restaurants at a good location that will always have guests and therefore does not care. The service was indifferent to unfriendly. The food was okay, as often in France, we ordered a (free) carafe d'eau and received a bottle of Evian (5,50 Euro), staff was chatting and flirting away near the bar and lost the smile the moment they had to deal with any guests. Don't go there.
Not a place worth stopping at. We were lured by the fact that there were people eating outside, but we should have read the reviews before sitting down. Service was terrible, same as the food. My husband had the underground burger. His meat was of low quality and undercooked, and the cheese wasn't good neither. Save yourself the trouble of eating there; at least you won't be disappointed.
We stayed at this restaurant twice from May 10th to 17th and fully enjoyed the meals. The food was very tasty and the salads phantastic. The personnel was friendly. Good value for the money! We can recommend this restaurant.

The waiter was really nice and friendly. My husband had the menu and i had brochettes of chicken. When the food finally arrived ( a bit slow but we werent in a hurry) . The food was nicely presented but a bit cold.
