Highly recommend Lava Restaurant Delicious food, friendly staff, fabulous location overlooking the ocean Breakfast, coffee/cake, Lunch, tapas, dinner Opens until 10pm Mon Wed Closes 5pm Thurs and Fri Closed Sat Closes 4pm Sunday We had southern fried chicken wraps with homemade skin on fries and coleslaw which was delicious Then had lemon drizzle cake to finish which was yum! Would not hesitate to return and recommend to others Highly recommend to book, every night was fully booked and manage to get a table to lunch but again, worth booking even for lunch
5 people in restaurant at 7.20 pm and the table we had booked was taken. We sat somewhere else. My chicken breast was well presented but tough. I sent it back and the chef said there was nothing wrong with it. I was forced to choose something else off the menu, so we ended up eating at different times. Not acceptable. No offer of compensation, or free drink etc. If there was nothing wrong WHY WOULD I SEND IT BACK. I am sorry this review was meant to be about Volcanic Isles also in the same area, Lava Beach is highly recommended
Have now been here for breakfast and dinner. Both excellent. Changing daily menus. A great alternative to the many usual menus nearby. The Moroccan lamb and Belly Pork were awesome. All the staff really friendly and efficient. Always a good sign that many customers are local residents who keep returning. And you often need to book as it’s so popular. Will definitely be back.
