We have used Lavas for years and years but never again after this evening. An on line order was totally screwed up and not for the first time. No salad, no rice and the main course (lamb saute) had, quite literally none of the vegetables in it that are listed on the menu. The quality of the take away food has deteriorated in recent years…..it is no longer worth ordering food from this restaurant…… It pains me to say that a once, very good, establishment has become an “also ran”…..my advice would be to look elsewhere for a decent Turkish meal.
I ordered from this restaurant for the first time in a while last night. I decided to try the Lavas special and chicken wings. The delivery took longer than expected, and I had to call to follow up, but they apologized and explained that they were short on drivers. It would have been nice to know that when I placed my order. Despite the delay, the food was still hot and incredibly delicious! I couldn't find any faults with it and I'm glad that I didn't let negative reviews deter me. Will I order from them again? Absolutely!
Oily and cold old food, I have emailed them twice and no reply, seems like they have really bad management as the food is old reheated and boxed delivered cold, the lamb donner was old and crusty. I never had a problem with them last few times I have ordered, Maybe they have just given up on the service they used to deliver. The food was horribly smelly and not the same as before. We did not enjoy this at all, will not be ordering again from Lavas turkish in Cheshunt.
I brought my daughter here for her birthday. I have no complaints. we have allergies and we have been searched. I booked a call back to check what my allergies were. the dame was friendly and accommodating. the food was fast and delicious. the prices are reasonable. will be visited there again. many thanks for them Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
the brand new restaurant is beautiful. very friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere with beautiful surroundings. the waiter is very pleasant and the dessert menu is optimal! I love the brown derby! main courses, a great variety and a rotation of the normal Turkish kitchen.
Cheshunt Minor injuries would like to thank all the staff at Lavas for our delicious take away lunch today. So tasty !! The best chilli sauce ever !! You always look after us, thank you and keep up your hard work , we appreciate it.
The customer service was excellent the restaurant ambiance was very homely. Mahdi served us well with delicious food tasted very homemade the complementary dips were a lovely touch to our evening.
Ordered a delivery which turned up 1 hour later. Disappointed as food was cold and instructions for one meal was not followed. Shame as food is usually really good. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The food was incredibly tasty, with excellent service from the friendly staff and reasonable prices. I am looking forward to returning soon!
