The service was extremely slow. We waited 15 minutes just to be acknowledged at our table. Then, after we ordered, the server came back 20 minutes later to tell us the kitchen lost our ticket. She told us the kitchen would put in a rush order for our hummus plate, small salad and two burgers, which still took another 20 minutes. The hummus plate and salad were brought out first while they took another 5 minutes to plate burgers. The food was okay until one of the members at our table noticed a June beetle coming out of his burger! The Sprite was extremely flat but the hummus was really good. Management was unavailable and it was noticed.
My experience at the restaurant was fantastic! The red lentil burger was spot on, and the falafel fries were delicious too. I ordered my pickup through the app, and it was ready in just 10 minutes. The customer service was excellent, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere both inside and outside. The outdoor seating at the back provides a nice, relaxed vibe. Just a heads up, there's a parking lot on the road for convenience.
If the service were a little quicker, this place would be exceptional. The staff is friendly, and the drinks are fantastic, including gourmet milkshakes. The burgers and fries are also good. I ordered a skillet with their potatoes, house-made garlic chili sauce, shawarma chicken, and two perfectly cooked over-easy eggs—delicious! Just be ready for a relaxed vibe; don't rush, and you'll enjoy a wonderful meal.
Layla's has a unique vibe that blends pop culture and punk, creating a fun atmosphere. The food is delightful, featuring Mediterranean and fusion dishes, with excellent vegan options. I usually go for the spicy falafel wrap with batata harra (Lebanese spicy potatoes), but the unicorn burger is also quite tasty. Been three times. Each time the server has been helpful and patience with all the ‘vegan’ questions. The menu is also marked well with options. Have had many of their specials but tonight had their signature “The Unicorn”. The cashew cheese is great and the pretzel bun soft!
The server asked all the right questions, and the menu featured a wonderful selection of American and Mediterranean cuisine. The service was truly exceptional, complemented by a fantastic atmosphere.
Partner and I tried both veggie burgers and were blown away. The beet burger had crispy edges and a juicy center. I think all or most of their sides are vegan. The atmosphere is fun and vibrant

the unicorn burger is delicious! they have incredible homemade hummus and pita, as well as a cashew nacho cheese sauce. Get some!
