Lazaro's Cuban Cuisine

Second time there. We have a friend who just loves the place. Love the yucca fries. Had the plantain chips...there were a lot of them, but the accompanying dip was too thin. I had a really good sandwich (all were reasonably 12.50, sizeable and tasty). Took half home. The pickles on my sandwich added great flavor. One of us had skirt steak sandwich. Hearty. The hoagie-ish bread is thin and crusty, and grilled. Tasty. They also have a sweet bread option. Coconut flan was shared and so good. Bottle of cold water for the table was perfect.

This is from a to go order that I picked up. The restaurant looks beautiful inside and outside, I really want to come back and dine in. The service was great, they had my food ready and it was packaged very well. I really enjoy the food. I ordered the Ropa Vieja y Lechon con Arroz. The rice was amazing and so were the black beans. Just fyi, the menu from the app I ordered food from did no say it came with beans, I had order some then found out the dinner meals come with both rice and beans.

Great Cuban food, comfortable patio, good service. My friends and I stayed way too late drinking wine and talking.
